A non-profit corporation promoting fellowship and social interaction among diverse individuals, advancing the welfare and protection of animals and all beings through the celebration of anthropomorphic art and performance.

The Kentucky Anthropomorphic Society, Inc. is a non-profit corporation formed under the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, pursuant to Section 501(c)7 of the Internal Revenue Code.

Members organize social events providing an opportunity for those with common interests to interact, engage in games and hobbies, partake in educational seminars, workshops and panels, share insights and experiences, partake in art pursuits of various media, and raise funds for common causes.

As a part of a global fandom, members participate in conventions, charitable events and fundraisers, private meetings and social events in Kentucky, across the country, and around the world.

Unique among popular culture groups, members creatively envision and bring to life their own human-like animal characters.  Some create or commission life-size costumes to wear and perform as their chosen personality; however, everyone engages in fellowship, and the celebration of art, music, and camaraderie.

Through the growth of its membership and by broadening the scope of the activities it undertakes, The Kentucky Anthropomorphic Society aspires to support animal welfare and protection efforts, art advocacy groups, educational opportunities, and other charitable and social causes consistent with its non-profit purpose.
